If one were looking to buy an older Porsche car, where would one look to find one?  I'm talking besides the usual sites, such as: The Mart at PCA.org , AutoTrader.com  and/or  Rennlist.  Just curious if anyone can add to the list or if there are any specialty car dealers in the area which may have some in their inventory.

Thanks

Are you looking for a street car or a racecar?

Someone forwarded me this link from racingjunk.com the other day, looks like a decent car, but I don't know much about the older cars:

This is actually a street car -- just another site to check...

I found  my 1988 944 at Cars.com and my 1995 968 on ebay.  I actually negotiated the deal for the 968 after it didn't hit the reserve on ebay.  I little bit more risky, buying a car without kicking the tires first, but for me it worked out very well.

What r u looking for?

Good Luck

I'm wondering whether Mahoney will part with his.  He wants to get into NASA racing and his car doesn't fit into any of the classes real well.  It's a great DE car though, and it's been in the club a while.

I'm trying to find pics -- Eric do you have pics from Summit at the end of the year last year? I was looking thru the thread and I couldn't find one.

Darren,

I had sent my files of my pics to our webmaster, but he has not posted them.  I know he is busy, it just will take a bit more time.

For older Porsche's, try Hemmings Motor News. You'll find several dealers that specialize in this area, as well as multiple ads from private sellers.
