Hi,

I saw a posting on "Upcoming" about Stone Bridge VIII but no link. Can anyone provide information regarding this event?

TIA,

Jay

Hi Jay,

SB XIII took place in May of '06.    Last May, SB concluded in its tenth year by Tripmeister Ken Souser.     Some of us tried to bring him back from retirement this year but it wasn't to be.

A lot of us really enjoyed Ken's trips and I hope to continue the tradition, perhaps in 2010.

Josh, if you have it, they (I) will come.

Sorry about my confusion, and thanks for the clarification. I sometimes find it hard to switch back and forth between the website and forums.

That said, I had a great time at several events last year run by Wellardmac and was hoping that someone was organizing some tours for this Spring/Summer/Fall.

Unfortunately, I will not be able to make the rally in May, it looks like a lot of fun.

Regards,

Jay

Thanks Chris, I'd like to do a similar overnight event in 2010 to a different location and, perhaps, a one-day drive in October (working out some details).

When I think about all the RTR friends I made on the Stonebridge/CC events, it's too valuable to let go. I remember meeting you on this drive before either of us did a single DE.

[attachment=3129]Our dear friend, long-time RTR member, and Tripmeister Ken Souser passed this morning.

Ken loved the club and gave back by organizing two annual trips until a few years ago when his health precluded him from driving his 911.

Ken will be remembered by his friends in the club for his eclectic pitstops while enjoying spectacular back roads and fantastic meals-- usually private venues with live entertainment. His planning was impeccable as were his photographs.

Please take some time this holiday season to remember Ken and keep his family in your thoughts.
