Online registration is open for the 4th Annual 944 Cup National Championship: https://www.nasaproracing.com/event/983 being held on VIR Full Course on Oct 9-11.

You have the option of signing up for just for the 2 Championship sprint races on Saturday and a 45 minute Fun Race on Sunday, or adding an optional Test and Tune day on Friday. The 2 Saturday races also count for regionals points in your respective Regional Championships. Late registration will kick in on September 15 and include an additional $50 charge. No minimum number of races is required to compete.

The registration price for the weekend includes admission to the 8th Annual Awards Banquet where we will celebrate the Champions for each Chapter and the Nationals. We also a a long list of prizes listed on our Nationals web page ( http://national.44cup.com/#sponsors ) that will be given away during the banquet based on a driver finishing position for Nationals. Everyone at Nationals will win something. And of course, the 944 Cup girls will be present in force! Extra tickets for the banquet can be purchased in advance for $20 per by emailing me at cup944@aol.com.

Additionally, MantisSport is offering the following prizes for the Sunday Fun Race: 1st - $250, 2nd - $150, 3rd - $50 for each class.

Arrangements have been made for a Porsche technician to be present for Nationals this year to perform some basic inspections of cars. Inspections will focus on drivetrain compliance, such as transmission gearing, piston, crankshaft, stroke inspections. Also inspections to check on wiring and ECU rules effecting mapping. And of course the Viper Dyno Shop is available on site at VIR for testing driver power output.

The Races on Saturday will be the subject of a Speedcast production will be made available online and in a DVD format. In car cams provided by Speedcast will be used in addition to stationary cams trackside. Placement of the in-car cams will be determined thru an auction open to all drivers which will be announced later. Proceeds of the auction go to funding the production.
