I'm not real good at determining how the offsets fit on various models but I wanted to know if these would fit on my car

The number on the 7 1/2J x 17H2 wheels is ET15.
The number on the 9J x 17H2 wheels is ET23.

My car for the most part is basically stock with the exception to struts & torsion bars. It has also been lowered quite a bit. Based on that, is it possible that the above specs would fit onto my car's hubs?

I believe those are early offset wheels. So they will not work on your 89.

Sorry Mike, but they are the exact opposite of what you want for your car.  The hot setup for stock fenders is 8x17 in the front (23mm neg offset) and 9x17 in the back (15mm neg offset).  Any more neg offset on the 9s and your tires will rub on the trailing arm bolts.

BTW all SCs and Carreras have the same hubs F&R and run the same wheels, including the 87-89 G50 cars.

Thanks for chiming in Larry, I was too unsure of my own knowledge to venture your exact response.

IIRC, it's a popular upgrade for SC/Carrera 911 owners to take the 9" Fuchs from the rear of early 944 Turbo's (23mm offset) and put them on the front, paired with some wider Fuchs made for the 911 in the rear.

Mike, here are some links to helpful wheel/offset  pages:

I think the rears of 944 turbo (size 8) are used in front and nines from 930 turbo are used as the rears.

Jim is correct.

Thanks for helping out. Larry and Chris, you both have helped take alot of the guess work out of trying to find some wheels this winter. Thanks a bunch!!
