Planning on going to the meeting if I can wrap things up here on time.  Are you going as well?

- Porshagod - 02-20-2008

I'll be there. I've found this to be one of the better "meetings" of the year. See you there!

Stuttgart was excellent in May of '06. We did the Grand Tour which was a 10 couple-experience where we saw the Porsche Works, Weissach, and 2 dinners along with the factory. We hit, an indicated, 170mph on the Autobahn and got up to the 'ring.

We're headed to Leipzig for delivery of a Cayenne on 6/20/08. It should be fun but not match the sports car experience.

Jim Sangiorgio from the club and Knopf does an excellent job arranging the ED program.

Not a bad way to break in a Porsche!  I bought my Mercedes' and 997t through Knopf and have always found them quite helpful.  The fact that your planning a return trip speaks highly of your previuos experience, and Leipzig is also a beautiful city.  Things have inproved significantly in the region since the fall of the wall, and I think you'll find the character different than southern Germany.  As a side benefit, the Autobahnen in the area are newer- there should be plenty of opportunities for the Cayenne without the constant "--km Stau" we encounter elsewhere...

Thanks Eric.   We're looking forward to Leipzig and have not been there before. We'll see how the mother-in-law holds up in the back seat on the Autobahn!

Now, back to the 928 posts on this thread. Here's a link to movies that 928s appear in:

Guys,

Finally let the shark out of the cage this weekend.  Thought I'd post a pic, I know Dave you were interested in seeing.  It appears I cannot load more than one attachment to this message.  Looks like I'll be back in Zuffenhausen in late May for a bit, can I pick anything up for you all?  Big Grin

Hope everyone's back out there on the road!  -EM

VERY nice! I'm leaving for the Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach auction this Tuesday. We'll have to get together when I get back and show the "cylindrically challenged" guys how it's done! I'll PM you with my Zuffenhausen needs.

- emayer - 03-23-2008

Thanks Dave, and have fun at the auction.  No way I could ever go there, I'd be like a kid in a candy store!
