Very true.............and those boys do not mess around with speeders. 20+ mph over can get you a night in "camp".

No radar detectors in VA.  And to top it off very high fines for speeding, even 5 over. Best advice is to travel at the posted limit in VA.  They are looking for you "BOY".

I don't like "camp".

Especially when your room mates name is Bubba.

Thanks for the tip, B.

I don't want them chasing me.

I got a huge ticket in VA on the way to Summit in November. The cop said that because I was from out of state, he could take me in to jail until I appeared before a judge.

Fast track, great weather, and a lot of RTR leadership made for a terrific event.   I enjoyed everyone's company at the event and a special thanks to the volunteer efforts of Tom Z., Jack K., and Wally.

Thanks for a great weekend guys.  Woodside House (A.K.A. VIR Animal House) was a blast... felt like I was back in my fraternity house.  And, aside from Marty's snoring and Graham's gaseous emissions, it was thoroughly enjoyable.  I think the jinx finally lifted on Saturday after a spell of bad luck:  Graham's tire and fuel-line issues, Marty's new truck crapping out, my getting lost on the way back from the track, and the well pump dying in the middle of my shower.

For any future first-time VIR house attendees, watch out for the old "apple turnover".  You'll have to stay in the house to learn what it means.

This was a phenomenal event. I know I had a great time and got to play with some of the best from the Northeast. Included in that hash was Jack...that was far more fun than just going for a fast time. Thanks again Jack for the great runs!
