I took this picture today. If you look closely, you can see a vehicle on the track.
After turning a few laps you can get a much better application for the track. Pictures don't do it justice.

Yes,
A truck delivers NEW tires to the edge of the track. Then a dune buggy-type vehicle with a small crane attached to it moves each stack of tires to the wall.

The final layer of asphalt was applied to Lightning on Friday. We had a track walk today and it looks awesome - nice elevation changes and even a bump after the last corner that allows you get some air under your front wheels!
