- Larry Herman - 04-01-2008 You're a star, Bob. ![]() - michael lang - 04-01-2008 Bob that was really nice how you kept the car straight and you didn't lose a position. Ever since last Nov I really have come to like driving my car in the rain. It poured yesterday here in D.C. and there I was clicking along on 270 coming home from work last night with the biggest shiteatenest grin. - jakp993 - 04-01-2008 bobt993 wrote: Quote:A different view of the same start.Bummer, I need IE to view this. Guess I'll have to wait until I get connected with my PC. However, I can guess what this is about. I remember being on the track with Bob @ our November event at Summit last year. It was pouring. I had my streets on and I was working for all I was worth to keep the car under control. I was NOT going to be a casualty of the conditions after I read everyone else the riot act about staying in control.... I see Bob in the mirror and he passes me like I'm standing still, rooster tail bellowing from those hoosier rains ![]() But, you need more than good tires to drive well in awful conditions. You need execllent driving skills too. Bob has the whole package. Jack - Mark Fox - 04-02-2008 ![]() - magnetic1 - 04-03-2008 Agreed. I had lots of fun racing with Bob. Especially in the dry the day before. 300+MB Sat Race. I started from the back and took me a while to finally get Bob. If his car was actually prepped to GTS3, I would have certainly had more trouble. I remember that Summit Point event too. I was on the same tires as this past event ![]() ![]() http://brakeswapracing.com/ericwong/videos/VIR-NASA-0308/NasaVIR032808.wmv |
