As long as you don't need any silly prescriptions we can do business!

Oops I forgot the TV people will be there. Thats the incentive. Not the race. Kind of like Nascar the same cars over and over and over all day.

Lighten up, Francis.
Nobody calls me Francis! My mother doesn't even call me Francis!

I have raced in SVRA for 6 years now and I can tell you that we race to and in and out of every corner. I ran a 1969 GT1 Vette, 1972 Toyota Celica in Group 2, a 1964 Vovlo P 1800 in Group 2 and a 1966 Cobra in Group 10 all bumper to bumper just no rubbing. I have passed and been passed in every corner at the Glen.

There is no banging or contesting the corner in the vintage races I have attended but the Grand Am folks look to me as if there is really something at stake in the race. Just MHO. I think there are a few folks on this forum that I could sell some meds to. Wink

I agree with you Tony...at the vintage events I've been to, they don't seem to be pushing hard IMHO. If you want to see vintage cars race, go to Europe where they really drive those cars hard against each other--nothing like seeing a couple of Ferrari 250GTO's racing for position, sliding through the Ascari chicane at Monza with the rear ends hanging out Cool

But then again, some people think DE is racing [Image: icon501.gif]

I think some tape on the keyboard would do nicely Wink
