I bought mine from edecals.com - ordered the Decals custom and they were shipped within days. 4 10" two color #'s cost about $70.00 including shipping.

Took them to a local Kinkos and had the guy there put the decals on a magnetic white backing for $20.00 - got 4 magnetic sheets with decals for less than $100.00...

Here is a guy that will bend over for any PCA guy or gal. He does any vinyl graphics you want for a reasonable price. Look at his web site:

Ask for Rob and tell him that Nick sent you.Big Grin

If you are handy with a pair of scissors, you can go to Home Depot or Lowes and purchase air duct vent covers made of sheet magnetic material. It only comes in white but you can make any style or size your imagination allows. The best part is that they are very inexpensive and you can get really creative with font styles.

I had the magnetic numbers from Rennline on my red wide body and I had to use water soluble glue to hold them on.  They came off on long straights like the front straight at Summit several times before I came up with the glue solution.

Not so cheap if you have to replace those magnets every time you do a lap on the track or AX............. those magnets don't have enough PULL, specially if you have BONDO repair on your doors. Confusedhock:Confusedhock:Tongue

What you do if it rained? Confusedhock:Confusedhock:

How about some tape on the leading edge? Oh, I know! Not so good looking.

Nick, if you go fast enough, anything pulls off! That's why you tape the leading edge. If you have bondo in your doors, you need to use the low stick vinyl sold by Solotime. They don't come off at 150 mph! Forget the magnetics.

Being the ultimate cheapo, I fashioned my numbers out of white vinyl shelf liner (contact paper).  The idea came from Bill Lehman.  Long roll (? 50 ft) of contact paper from Walmart was about $3.

Gotta be handy with scissors or hobby-knife (I used a scalpel).  The numbers stay on through rain, car washing, long starights.

Never had a problem with the glue in the rain. I could however remove the numbers with ease and wash the glue off with a little elbow grease and car wash. And yes tape on the leading edge is "tacky" Tongue
