- catchacab - 11-11-2009 I feel that those who are mocking the OP are wrong. The first thing we should do is to ask the driver in the picture for his side of the story. We should learn a lesson from this thread that when we are in our P-cars or when driving a car with PCA tags, we are representatives of the club and should drive with courtesy. In a previous thread there was a post about how a new member felt ignored at a membership meeting. We don't know if the OP is or was a member of the club. We should be mindfull as individuals as reprentatives of the club how we treat other people. What we do know as fact at this point is that the OP was driving behind the GT3, the car needs a new license plate frame, the OP is a better and faster driver than the driver of the GT3, and the OP is obvioulsy upset at the driver of the GT3. Personally, I don't think the driver of the pictured car can make a perfect 90 degree turn. - CarreraS - 11-11-2009 I was in the passenger seat with this same GT3 driver at Thunderbolt and you know what.....he was actually passing people, too! It was terrifying! ![]() ![]() So speed cams aren't bad enough....now we have to worry about cameras in cell phones pointing out our mistakes and indiscretions. I'm just glad there are no cameras outside Delilah's. ![]() - asher681 - 11-11-2009 Eric, no one is mocking the OP....... Hint # 1 the old license plate frame , Hint # 2 look at the "mug" in the side view mirror & you will understand..... Agreed that guy couldn't hit an apex to save his life. I love the videos on Youtube of guys passing Porsches. People are always watching them and can't wait to drag race one. I'm sure the OP isn't on the Kia forum complaining about those drivers! Btw -- he has to be a BMW driver. My guess is he wears driving gloves on the street. Do you know the difference between a BMW driver and a porcupine? - Darren - 11-11-2009 Oh and yes I'm mocking the OP ![]() - catchacab - 11-11-2009 asher681 wrote: Quote:Eric, no one is mocking the OP....... Joe Asher, RTR VPI know who is driving. - AMoore - 11-11-2009 Ha, this is great . . . The question is, does the OP know who is driving, and is the OP perhaps someone who had an axe to grind previously. By the way, we all break the rules of the road now and again. I'm not saying its right, but we don't need the proletariot playing big brother. And, most certainly we are not representing our club when we are driving on public roads, irrespective of what our license plates say. It is ludicrous to think any less, or any different, of the club based on the alleged actions of one member which took place outside the confines of a PCA event. - AMoore - 11-11-2009 JAllen0385 wrote: Quote:He made a perfect 90-degree turn -- FROM THE LEFT LANE OF TRAFFIC !By perfect, do you mean he hit the apex at high speed ,with threshold breaking, with a bit of lift and throttle steer? Nice!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() - JoeP - 11-11-2009 Y'all are reading too much into this. I'll bet that a civilian witnessed our Brother behaving badly on the street, Googled for a Philadelphia Porsche Club, found the forum, signed up, and lodged a protest. Do Forum participants need to be PCA members? - AMoore - 11-11-2009 No, I'm just probably being an instigator . . . |
