Not a silly dream at all; not even a dream - a must!!!!

There is a green car that is very similar that runs in our DE events regularly.

Hi Aaron,

I like your response very much! Yes- a dream/must...I hope for it to happen someday (sooner than later)!! Guess I'll put it at the top of my bucket list for now. My bucket list is getting really long all of a sudden....

Thanks,
Diane

Hi Diane,

Nice to see you out here, with a sweet Targa longhood, too!

We have an early car as well, it has been garaged most of it's life and intend to keep it that way  [Image: icon501.gif]  We have other cars to flog, so no use putting it at risk  Wink

Our longhood hot rod is a red 1970 911T factory sunroof coupe with just under 80K miles, no rust, though currently apart getting an additional oil cooler installed so it can be taken on long rides.  The mechanicals have been changed to a late 80's 3.2L Club Sport motor, 915 gearbox, 7/31 gears with a '86 factory short shift kit--still feels like a long stick in a bucket of mud!  Light weight flywheel, 911S brakes, aluminum banana arms, turbo tie rod ends, 21/27 torsion bars, and 7 and 9 inch factory Fuchs.  Interior is pretty good with later model leather seats and belts.  Next up is to mess around with the door pockets which are out of the car right now.

Good luck with the car and hope to see you around  Smile

I think Diane and her husband (me) Smile clearly need a second Porsche for flogging at the track and auto-x.  Actually we'd probably need a third after that since we'd be fighting for seat time at every event!

All Porsches were meant to be driven like they were stolen.

TwentySix,

I hope to see some pictures of all your progress. Sounds great!! Are you coming to the breakfast on April 11th? Let me know....

Speak soon,
Diane

Hi husband Joe,

Yes- you said that right. LOL! We need to figure out who purchased that powder blue Porsche we saw in October for sale in Chester Springs and make them an offer. I can't stop thinking about that car! What model/year was that again?

Maybe they are in the club....would love to see that car again...

LY,
Diane
