- STEVEMCMORN - 01-15-2007 fair point ... but don't worry, young padawan learner, already onto it....... currently in touch with Central (ie Herscehy), Delaware, Chesapeak and Pocono PCA Majority of events will be PCA club events with a few SCCA thrown in to fill up the monthly dates ideas and schedule ... all coming together, hopefully good mix for all and hopefully posted in next few weeks......... PS we will also have our own PAX-based scoring system -- which i need to talk to you about --- so don't need to worry (well atleast not too much) about other scoring systems - STEVEMCMORN - 01-15-2007 Nick - by reading other links, just figured you were the guy i was parked next to at Warminster ... with the red porsche and the disapearing headlight! So I'm Steve and You're Nick - good to put a face to the username - STEVEMCMORN - 01-15-2007 Wellardmac wrote: Quote:Gotta admit that I wasn't happy withj just 3 runs... only just getting warmed up at that point. hopefully your gearstick and clutch will also be suitably warmed up ............ and you'll make it into 2nd gear next time hock: - Wellardmac - 01-15-2007 STEVEMCMORN wrote: Quote:Wellardmac wrote:Quote:Gotta admit that I wasn't happy withj just 3 runs... only just getting warmed up at that point. ....carry on with your wisecracks, have fun, my day will come. - betegh9 - 01-15-2007 Steve, Yes, that is me,THE RED EYE SPECIAL. I am getting the new lens this week and the headlight will be back in place. As far as PAX, a good starting point, look at the indexes used by NNJR at Porscherama together with the classes used. See the results from last September event to get an idea of how it has worked. - betegh9 - 01-30-2007 Steve! by the way, if you are one of the FOUR working on the AX program, The PAX system works OK, but if you'd like to set up classes, a good way to do this is what Maverick Region in Texas is doing. they have a "on line registration" on an excel spreadsheet where you can, not only indicate your car model, year,etc...., but any and all modifications that are relevant to AX PERFORMANCE enhancements. Charlie Davis, friend of mine worked on this for years with imput from a number of us accross rhe US. I am sure that he would be willing to get you up and running with this set up. Feel free to go on Maverick's web site and play with that form. nick PS. did everyone go to sleep in HIBERNATION on this forum? - jgrausa - 03-03-2007 Nick: Just a few updates. Our AX series in Hershey has 5 dates this year, April 29, May 13, June 10, Spetember 23 and October 21. The last couple years we have been running 4 classes (A, B, C, and D) A being highly modded cars and D the slowest. Our Regions objective is very specific with our series - fun and safe. We make particular effort not to intimidate Novices. Our relatively small participation allows us to normally finish before 1 pm. Hope to see you in Hershey this year so I can give you a few pointers . Regards, Joe Rausa - Past Pres. Central PA - PCA - betegh9 - 03-04-2007 Joe! Glad to hear from ya. What were you doing to that little red car? Cool pic, I like the stress in your eyes and the heavily loaded front right tire in that turn. I'll take note of your dates and try to make a few of them........so get ready for a whipping! :dude: - pbd - 03-04-2007 I am a rank amateur at AX, but I'm willing to give it a try. - betegh9 - 03-04-2007 Hi pbd, I see that you are new here. By the look at the rides you have and had, I doubt that you would be new at an old sport.......If you like to AX, you should have kept the 914, it is a shure winner. What's pbd stand for? |
