JhnRX7,

Nice pics for a first timer on the track. Now, for your final test..................... from those 4 pics you show, do you know which car does not pass TECH inspection? And why? Worst is, it was on the track. Confusedhock: If you get the answer, my friends and I will vote you in as next year's (2012) tech chair.

I'm guessing .... but how about open top boxster without roll bar??
(but don't want the job if accidentally right)

Nick he has arm restraints which is required for no top.  About the broomstick rule.  he is close, but it may measure good.  Are you starting trouble early for 2011 or just bored with no track time?

You guys beat me to it. I would have said the Boxter with the drivers helmet being over the roll bar, although it is hard to tell for sure from the picture.

The broomstick rule is right!  The angle of the shot clearly shows the helmet higher than the line between the rollbar and the top of the windshield.

.................... and yes, how about a snow track event at Thunderbolt using only 2 wheel drive vehicles.  the track should rent for cheap!..... and I'm always good to start trouble.  Let's see?  Who can I pick on this year?

This forum has been dead lately....................... What's wrong with you guys?!!

That's a good thing, specially if you wana afford track time next year. But really, you must have a little R&R to get on the forum, right?Tongue

Actually, I wouldn't trust the top of that windshield to remain in that position in case of a roll over, so I would rather calculate a straight line from the front hood to the roll bar............ thus, I would almost set the seat on the floor of the car.:? and have the top of my helmet under that line.
