I'm a big MB fan, and as much fun as the Black would be, I think your rule is a sound one.

Over the past 2 years I had to deal with cracked windshield x2, driving home from WGI with no brakes left, and now a flat this past weekend.  Finally picked up my trailer yesterday.  I'm a slow learner!....Big Grin

I think a photo-shoot with RTR members' cars would make for a cool calender or addition to the web site.

Speaking of photos, hopefully some from the event will show up here soon!

I have a lot of friends with very interesting cars, lambos, ferrari's obv porsches...would be a great shoot...

If your ever in the city, send me a message, Your car would look great right in front of Parc!

There is no public parking in front of Parc; although, owners of exotics do seem to ignore the law.  I actually saw an Enzo parked there last year.

I live there, I can pull strings for a night haha. And by pull strings, I just mean grease Kaeba, the head valet guy.

Quote:Thanks, I had my cup at the track, but unfortunately lost 3rd gear, so headed home early. I had maybe 30 people say to use the black, but I have a personal rule about not driving to the track in the same car Im on the track with...especially for a place 4ish hours away and with blue bushes all over the place lol.

Sorry about your 3rd gear............ I would have finished the weekend staying on track by skipping 3rd. Seems that the more expensive new cars are not built like the older ones. I drove up, drove on the track and drove back home with the same car and never changed a tire. Been doing this for years and never a problem. I have AAA plus though! Big Grin I am anal teching the car before going to any event.

You still manage to evade me, Deerhunter. I'd like to meet you at some point......... Maybe you'd like to AX against me in Reading.Smile:dude:

I wanted to send my appreciation as well to the guys and gals who put this all together. I don't even want to know what goes into a event of this size.

I also wanted to take the time to send a thank you to everyone who stopped over at our camp to see what the deal was with our car. We really appreciate all the helpful ideas and suggestions - even if you didn't have any good ideas, it was good to talk with everyone. I wish it could have been under less stressful circumstances.

an image many of you will recognize:

And to everyone who didn't run us over, thanks, we appreciate that too Big Grin

I did have one question however...what is that peculiar logo on your hood?
Is that the Master of Ceremonies I see or is that my immaturity bubbling out again?

haha, you aren't the first to question the logo. the logo is two J's back to back. It comes from a group of friends who called themselves the "jersey jerks". it also works well for joseph (me) and jason (co-owner/driver). in all honestly, we just like the shape of the logo viewed from this angle:
