Nick, what seminar did you attend? David was at our wedding and we love him! Wanted to do his 2 day stint at VIR but can't cuz it's mid-week.

I think data is additional input to inform the video. What's most important is the right line -as you guys know. It's all debatable.

I think what David is suggesting is that on an amateur level he can tell more about what your doing wrong with video.  I learned from a pro an earlier apex along time ago now so I completely agree with David Murray.  The problem with teaching the earlier line is both car setup and driver comfort level.  You need to work up to it and that is where data helps big time.  If your car is not balanced right you will transition from understeer to oversteer mid corner very abruptly.  (not fun)>

The seminar was at the Villa, Mountain Lakes, NJ........ an NNJR event.

Yeah, I think seminars like that are cool to promote to other clubs - not sure about other track events that may compete for drivers.wish I'd have known!
