Definitely going to the track this year. I'm looking at Pocono in May and NJMP in June. I haven't been to Pocono yet so if anyone has I would appreciate your opinions.

That's what I'm thinking for the early season. I'll probably try for at least one other event later in the year.

Here's an interior pic.

Pocono will be kind of an unknown for all of us.

They have been doing a lot of repaving there and they were working on a redo of the layout of some of the infield track sections. If you go on the Pocono International web site all the track configurations seem to have some changes. I'm not sure what course we are signed up for in May, but they all look a little different.

It should make for interesting times.

We'll be on the North course in May.  Friday will be for instructor training and advanced drivers only.  Saturday and Sunday will include Green and Blue run groups.  The September event will be interesting with all the new track configurations available to us.Smile

Paul the North Course diagram on the Pocono Int'l web site show what appears to me, a longer straight on the main track and a different turn off the main. Is that just art work or did they move the turn in off the main?

Same old North course.  Just improved transitions (so I'm told) at turn one.Cool

Opinions of Pocono?  Let's see. I guess I would say its a good idea to stay on the track and out of the infield.
