- Marty Kocse - 04-04-2007 I ran Performance Friction 97's on the front and stock Porsche pads on the rear for all of last season - street and track driving. I never had an ABS issue and I never had an uneven wear issue. Both fronts and rears wore out by the end of the season. I checked them all the time, but never had any type of issue. - smankow - 04-04-2007 last season, I tried pagid yellow (rs19) in the front and orange in the rear. I wasn't very fond of this combo. I had no initial bite when applying the brakes and the rear pads wore out very quickly. For this season, I'm probably going back to the Hawk HT10's. Steve - Marty Kocse - 04-04-2007 I'm going to see how my Pagid Orange's do this year and if I don't like them, I'll go back to the Performance Friction 97's all around. - Brian Minkin - 04-04-2007 I know its an older car but I run Pagid Orange Front and Rear and like them a whole lot more than the Hawks I ran before. Much better initial bite and they have helped me not over brake as much because I have more confidence in them. (notice I said as much...I still over brake) - Marty Kocse - 04-04-2007 Brian Minkin wrote: Quote:...(notice I said as much...I still over brake)I know, me too - slow in, fast out, late apex, 8/10th's my ass... - APXD 30 - 04-04-2007 Thanks guys. I'll do some more shopping. - Tony356993 - 04-04-2007 Quote:I ran Performance Friction 97's on the front and stock Porsche pads on the rear for all of last season - street and track driving. How about 2 events on pads and maybe on a set of rotors. :X - smankow - 04-04-2007 Bob/Tony, I can vouch for Marty's brake wear. He kept asking me to look at the pads to see what was left. My stock reply was "do you use the brakes?" - bobt993 - 04-05-2007 Drive faster......................brake later........... |
