- dmano - 05-22-2007 11.8 is slow these days there are street cars that run a 10" drag radial that go 9s and this on a DOT tire. My stang is slow ask Steve Meanhan about his black car and how fast that one is. I am up for the Grove I know what you were asking. No ear plugs allowed. Why drown out all that music of HP - Porshagod - 05-23-2007 Cool, I'm in, with 2 additional friends. Wouldn't miss it, the drags are my "roots". (1976, Atco, NJ, my '57 Chevy w/550 HP BBC, turning 11.22's @ 118mph) Still have the time slips! - plumvr6 - 05-24-2007 Count me in. A day at any track is better than any day at work. - stentech - 05-31-2007 Todays Mustangs in near street trim(renegade class) dip into the high 8 sec. range. 10.5 inch tire outlaw cars run in the 6.7sec range. Even though mustangs are real crap wagons (I have owned 5) from an engineering stand point they can be made very serious for all forms of racing.
