His 61 sec lap translates into a 62.2 sec lap on official results. I amazed how times drop when your memory starts to fade. - ccm911 - 04-08-2008 Bob's new nickname will be "Bobby Slapdown"! What a monster! - ninjabones - 04-09-2008 bobt993 wrote: Quote:T1 looks fine. I would like to hear a little stronger throttle to the apex. T2 is a little late, you hit the apex, but your turning in too late using a little too much wheel, track out using the whole track. T3 a little late also, use more track. T4a-4b, if you get just right, you will use one wheel movement all the way to the dot for turn in back to the left. Quote:Posted: Sun Apr 6th, 2008 05:15 pm Larry: I edited out all the parts where my instructor cursed and yelled at me. In the beginning, he thought I was way too aggressive and had me focus on "driving my drive" and not over-driving to pass the guy in front of me or keep the guy in my mirrors from passing. It actually did make me drive smoother and faster. Definitely a big change from my instructor at VIR, who pushed me to the point where I wasn't having any fun; I actually had to ask him to back off a bit. Anyway, it's nice to see different educational approaches. Bob: Thanks for the feedback. - George3 - 04-09-2008 Glenn, I like to study the track map of the course you're running. That seems to help me. If you're familiar with the course, you can run the whole track in your mind before the event. A good instructor taught me that trick (!) . - Sechsgang - 04-09-2008 Bob Yes, I am starting to suspect that people deflate their times a bit when they get on the intraweb...Its funny how slow ones verified times seem when comparing to the memory verified times...my 59.6 is in that traqmate, so atleast I know its mine!!! You guys all heading to Pocono in may? - betegh9 - 04-10-2008 sorry Mister! But that is NOT the time trial I was refering to. That was with MSNE, and since, I have done others with far better results...... once my new tires wore down, from new, and some good practice. - betegh9 - 04-10-2008 Sechsgang wrote: Quote:BobYes, I plan to be there...... Look for my RED EYE SPECIAL if I don't find you first.hock::dude::dude: - Sechsgang - 04-10-2008 bring it on, but remember, when its 60 degrees or so...Ill be running high 57s...Ill be waiting... - bobt993 - 04-10-2008 Just tell us where and who. I have run with alot of groups and get valid time sheets from the admins. - Darren - 04-10-2008 Sechsgang wrote: Quote:bring it on, but remember, when its 60 degrees or so...Ill be running high 57s...Ill be waiting...Yeah?
