- michael lang - 10-10-2009 I ordered mine from http://www.edecals.com , huge variety of colors, styles, fonts, etc. Pretty much design your own and they make it for you. If I remember correctly I think I spent about $50 for two decent sized three digit number plates. Haven't had any issues with the number plate coming off or loose...but I'm not as fast as Brian either. - Vidal - 10-10-2009 Here's a place to go to whether you want vinyl or magnetic numbers. He will also custom design one for you if desired: http://www.idsigns.com/Magnets.html http://www.idsigns.com/Logos.html He's also done full car graphics, trailers and helmets. http://www.idsigns.com/helmets.html http://www.idsigns.com/Trailers.html - Ed Kovalevich - 10-10-2009 Here is my set of Solotime magnetic numbers. There are two of each number. $20 - larrybard - 10-10-2009 Are there any [minimum] size requirements, e.g., if one is to display the numbers on the rear windows on both sides? I have used rather large magnetic numbers on the doors (taped on the edges to keep them affixed) for the last few years, but fear that this will be their last track season. - betegh9 - 10-10-2009 larrybard wrote: Quote:Are there any [minimum] size requirements, e.g., if one is to display the numbers on the rear windows on both sides? The numbers on my car (424) have been on my car since the Tampa Parade in 2003 and they are 4" tall. If that height is acceptable by NATIONAL, then I guess it would be acceptable here, but maybe the track chair may want to chime in........ - Lainey - 10-11-2009 I use numbers that are 8" tall on the sides and smaller 4" size on the front/rear bumpers - JIMK - 10-12-2009 Local printshop in Hatboro made these for ~25$ Boggs Printing Incorporated (215) 675-1203 216 N York Rd, Hatboro, PA - JIMK - 10-12-2009 Ant these too. - capricorn12 - 11-13-2009 Brian Minkin wrote: Quote:I had the magnetic numbers from Rennline on my red wide body and I had to use water soluble glue to hold them on. They came off on long straights like the front straight at Summit several times before I came up with the glue solution. Water soluble glue is ideally used neat for gluing mosaic tesseral directly onto wooden surfaces for indoor use. Is it also used for a water filter replacement? _________________ Refrigerator Water Filter - Brian Minkin - 11-13-2009 capricorn12 wrote: Quote:Brian Minkin wrote:Actually the glue I used was the same glue stick we used to create the RTR scrapbook that won RTR Region of The Year that year. It was a good stick.Quote:I had the magnetic numbers from Rennline on my red wide body and I had to use water soluble glue to hold them on.
