Quote:Hi Sunny! Had a great time tagging along with you guys last year. (We need to get George back in the fold...) One possibility may be to meet at the Allentown rest stop off of the NE extension. Plenty of room for those trailering. Gas, coffee, etc. on site.

I'm free anytime after 1 pm that day. Depending on number and availability, we may want to consider two groups although a huge convoy would be fun!

You mean the Allentown SERVICE PLAZA? Rest stops don't have squat!.......... That could be a good place, the time is the question, 3ish? 4ish? 5ish?

Sorry if I wasn't clear, I didn't realize there was an option other than the Allentown Service Area in that locale which is what I intended.

I'm flexible beyond 1 pm, but prefer to get there sooner rather than later.  Is anyone interested in meeting at 3pm?

Whatever happened to George B.?????

Dan,  George has been doing Nasa events with Reid and working on his EVO.  Your vid looks great and so was your driving.  We had some close calls with traffic. Confusedhock:

Having me as a student several times last year proved too taxing for George. He has since sold Das Evo. I hope he will see the error of his ways and return to this addiction soon! One can only wonder what he will show up with next......Cool

hmm, caravan could be fun...

3 might be a bit late for those of us that need to drop a trailer at the track.  WG allows drop off from 6 to 8.  I personally would like to target arrival for between 5:30 and 6.  Thoughts? Allentown service plaza does sound like a good spot.  Any of us heading north on 100 could meet at some spot convenient to all and head up to AT.

I will be heading out from West Chester.  See you guys at the Allentown service area.  What time ?  Allentown is prob 4 ? hours from WG ?

Kenny

Steve and I will also join Kenny at the Allentown Plaza - we need to drop our trailer as well. Please let us know what time too...

FYI, the Allentown Service Area, is south of the LV interchange. I'm not sure if it is possible to drive south from the LV to the service area then turn around and head north again.

They used to prevent cars from doing that years ago. If you get on the TPK from the south, e.g. Quakertown, Lansdale, etc., that's not a problem of course.
