Anyone planning on going back to the Glen with Schattenbaum Oct 1 & 2?  I mailed in my registration a week ago or so

Sharon and I will be there and I think Brian and Chris K. are heading up also. Tons of track time with Schattenbaum. Big Grin

I am doing the fall Schattenbaum event at the Glen.  3 trips to the Glen this year. Big Grin

I'm in for Schattenbaum too. I'm only doing the Glen and SP this year, with just one Shenandoah and one Pocono. The car almost drives itself to the Glen. (And no comments about how my car really does drive itself, when I don't screw it up, please.)

A friend from San Francisco is coming in for the Zone 1 event. It will be his first on-track experience and he'll be in my car. (He just got a 997 GT3 so there are visions of my visiting him at Laguna Seca or Sears Point dancing in my head, but don't tell him.)

We plan to drive from Philadelphia and in my car that will be a bit crowded. Who in the area has lots of extra space, is willing to carry some of my gear, is driving up on Friday early and is staying at the Seneca Lodge? (Or who is close to doing that?) I'm not sure when Ron is coming in, but I expect it will have to be Thursday, so we'll want to be on the road mid-morning Friday to see the instructors run that day and to settle in.

Beer could be bought for suitable cargo space.

Chris, if I go to the event (I am accepted), I'll have space.  I need to see how the arm starts to feel.  After 5 straight track days, it's more than a little sore.  It kept getting worse yesterday, so my last sessions averaged about 10 minutes.

I'm planning on making a decision this week and will let you know.  If not (and you can beg, borrow or rent a tow vehicle) you can use my trailer.

Steve

Confusedhock:  We missed you on Saturdayat Pocono.  As we drove up on Saturday, I was thinking how you enjoyed the drive up on the smooth as glass 476 N.

Steve, I hope you are up to it. It's a month from now so let your arm rest, except for the exercise it needs to promote recovery.

Mark, Friday was good running the north course CCW. Never did that before and it was fun. I had to make an appearance at home this weekend.

Looks like Tony has garage #30 for the Zone 1 event. We can all put our chairs in there if he doesn't park his car there!

Chris - the memo sent to me by Geroge states that there should be at least 3 cars per garage. As the custodian of the garage (impressive - huh?) I say my RTR guys can use the garage. Since I'm heading up with the kids, I am going to try and park in the shady area on the other side of the fence near T11. If I cannot park there, I might need the garage space. We will see how it goes. There will be at least 2 of you guys able to park in the coveted garage 30.

Chris - I have room for stuff in the bed of the truck and a bit of room in the trailer if the stuff is not too heavy. The downside is that I live in God's country.

If I can park my chair in the garage, I won't have to bring my canopy, and will have some extra room.  I will be coming up Friday night.
