So...... I need some help here guy's as a father should I let my daughter dirve my car again at an autocross? She wants to drive at the Hershey AX

I'm conflicted, should I be proud that she can drive the car like it was stolen or should I try to salvage some pride and not let her drive again based on the chance that she will beat my times.

Just find a way to limit the throttle to 50% when she drives. Confusedhock: When I let my son run the red rocket in AX he kicked my butt.

Ian, its not just about you.  Have you considered everybody else's fragile male ego?

I vote we keep inviting Tanya until she's faster than us, then Ian can stop bringing her.Cool

What better way to have your daughter learn to drive properly.......... PCA driving school, and imagine the great BONDING you will both get.

Fuel: $50.00

AX entry: $35.00 each

Beers and food after the event: $20.00

bonding and LOOSING to your daughter: PRICELESS!

Thanks for all the advice guy's, I'm going to prepare for a bruised male ego and continue to leverage the bonding opportunity with my daughter.

Does anyone know where "I" can get some Autocross lessons (price no object) Big Grin

Money no object, huh? Cool I can help you go faster! [Image: thumbup.gif]

You should go to the SCCA Philly region novice school this weekend, I promise it will make you better and it'll cost less than me Wink I was the chief instructor of their novice school a few years back and I can tell you it's very worthwhile if you want to go faster... just don't send your daughter... yet [Image: roflmao.gif]

Sorry Bill,

I did some hunting around and came up dry as well.  Perhaps you can reach someone at the Blue Mountain SCCA who still has the results.  Good luck!
