- Vytenis - 07-22-2007 1987 red 911 coupe. Did you run today? Next time we'll meet. "V" - Wellardmac - 07-22-2007 Okay, now that I know your car I'll make sure we meet next time. I'm assuming that you were car # 8, not car #59 I have lots of photos of your car, so it's easy for me to pick out... I always remember it by the black pattern on the headlight surrounds. - Vytenis - 07-22-2007 Nope that's Pete M with the turbo look red coupe and the black around the headlights. I'm just the plain Jane '87 (number 59 today). Are you posting pic.'s? "V" - Wellardmac - 07-22-2007 Ahh, of the 2 red cars, I chose the wrong one. Now I know. Yup, I posted some pics in the AX forum and a link to more pics that I have hosted on Flickr. There's a photo of your car up on my flickr page. I couldn't drive today due to commitment to be home for guests late afternoon (now), so I hung aroud to see people, chat and take photos. I left around 2pm. - Vytenis - 07-22-2007 Cool. Thanks for sharing. "V" - Wellardmac - 07-22-2007 No problem. Glad that you liked them. I like to get out and photograph as many events as a I can. It's pretty funny that I look at the photos and I see you looking right at me in some of the shots. - Darren - 07-22-2007 TSX? I wish I had an Acura that nice! - Wellardmac - 07-22-2007 Darren wrote: Quote:TSX? I wish I had an Acura that nice! Oh, I thought the TSX was you. I guess that's why it ran slower than I would expect you to be driving. That being said, it appears to handle itself respectably. I have been thinking about running my TSX since I saw one run at Warminster last month... just so that I can see how it does. - Vytenis - 07-22-2007 I may be looking right at you, but trying to stay focused on the task at hand, I never saw a photographer. - Wellardmac - 07-22-2007 Vytenis wrote: Quote:I may be looking right at you, but trying to stay focused on the task at hand, I never saw a photographer. That's the way I like it... we get the best photos when we're not seen. I use a small compact Canon camera, point and shoot and get out of the way - fast and attracts less attention than an SLR. My favorite photo of the day was the one with the two Boxsters and the guy leaning against the front fender. |
