Homer of course.

Slow driver with the fastest car

or

Fast driver with the slowest car

- catchacab - 10-20-2006

Fastest driver with the slowest car!!!  There are too many fast cars, but slow drivers!

And in tune with that...

Passing only in the corners in DE

or

Passing only on the straights in DE

- ZBlue996Kam - 10-20-2006

Sorry, passing only in the straight in DE in PCA.

I prefer passing anywhere with a point by.

Fast and easy big ball tracks

or

Not as fast but technical tracks

- catchacab - 10-20-2006

Hey Kam,

Where does it say only passing on the straights?

Passing Zones: Passing zones for all groups shall be well defined at the Drivers' Meeting. All passing must be completed by the end of the passing zone as defined by the event organizer. THERE WILL BE NO PASSING IN THE TURNS AND UNDER RED FLAG CONDITIONS THERE IS ALSO NO PASSING UNDER YELLOW FLAG CONDITIONS EXCEPT FOR SLOW-MOVING VEHICLES WHOSE DRIVERS HAVE SIGNALLED THAT THEIR VEHICLES ARE DISABLED. Road courses associated with super speedways may use the super speedway turns as passing zones; e.g., Turn 3 at Pocono, or NASCAR Turns 1, 2, 3 and 4 at Texas Motor Speedway. Kinks in a straight area of the track will not be considered turns unless specified by the Event Chairman. The Event Chairman shall take into consideration the areas of the track that are preferred for passing, and may restrict certain passing zones to advanced run groups.

Eric, it's in black and white.  Read the minimum PCA rules which are part of participating in DE events.Big Grin

Maybe it is time to start to think about Club Racing.

So Driver's Ed

or

Club Racing?

- ZBlue996Kam - 10-21-2006

Club racing (I can't afford it).

GT class

or

Stock class

- Larry Herman - 10-21-2006

Stock class.  There's no limit to the spending in a GT class.

Hoosiers

or

MPSCs?

- ZBlue996Kam - 10-22-2006

Hoosiers, even though I have not used them for many years.  I've ran with people who use them and they seems to be significantly faster than MPSC.

Factory built race car

or

Build one that is faster

- Larry Herman - 10-22-2006

Factory built car.  They will always be worth more, and will have that special aura.  That being said, I think that my car is the next best thing.

Expensive streetable DE Porsche

or

Cheaper track only car & street Porsche?
