Craig, suspension it is, indeed,...Smile

I have also put my wrenches to work, The rear trailing arm were removed to replace the 20+ year old rubber. I struggle to remove the big nut, but with the help of the Amazing Mr. V and a solid wooden log, it finally gave up. Now the spring plate was a whole different story. I needed a special Porsche tool (we all know = $$$), so I've tried with a cheap online Hex adapter and it twisted like butter. I resorted to purchase a 14mm allen key from Sears which worked with slight mod and a long 30" breaker bar.

And voila,...

The rear trailing arm is a bit different from the 3.2 Carrera, but the principle is the same I believe. The busching on the trailiong arm weren't that bad at all (considering 20 years), but those from the spring plate were so far gone I dont how I managed to stay on the road with the car.
