Since it is 20-25 min from the rest stop, I would suggest leaving there at 7:30.

GREAT day guys! That was a lot of fun, and MAN did we embarrass those corvettes!

I'm reading the results from the handwritten time sheets, so I might have misspelled some names.. Also, does anyone know if the guy with the 944 was one of our guys?

I know that I wound up 0.3 seconds behind the top Corvette in the morning, and took him the third run to do it. Then in the afternoon, he did the same to me, but ended up only 0.03 second quicker. Maybe I should not have eaten lunch, but I had 240 lbs of dead weight in the passenger seat anyway, to boot. That gap is probably no more than a couple of inches at the finish line.......damn those long hoods on the Vettes. My face was probably past the finish first. Oh! and that Vette was a ZO6 with 500+ ponies and Hoosier A6's that should have taken me by over 2 seconds against my toyo tires. I feel good about my and all of the RTR member's results.

Stephane had a great get together after the AX.......good food, good drink, and best, great company. What else could one ask for? Sorry I had to leave early for my Mother's birthday calebration. thanks for all Stephane!

Trevor,

They shortened the finish by about 50' to give drivers more distance to slow down at the end of that drag strip, thus about a second faster for everyone in the afternoon....but I'll accept your coment......... We don't drive fast, we fly low.Big Grin
