- bobt993 - 05-08-2007 Steve, I have a G2x Racepak. I started using it two years ago. It really helps when you make line/tuning changes. I will figure out how to post two comparison runs on this forum as JPGs. Shenandoah is a great example, since I had no rear swaybar and cooked tires running 1:42-3's, then with repair and newer typically slower tires improved to sub 1:40's. I will work on putting a comparison graph together showing the enhanced understeer (no rear sway bar) VS. earlier throttle with the corrections. On the track, I noticed the corrected responsive steering and adhesion, but the data logger really adds the numbers. Check out G2Xextreme on the web. Would be a great tuning tool for your new scream machine. BTW, No sooner did I post the reply and Kenny called me. lol. He just switched his Hoosiers to Pirelli slicks. At which point he said: "Catch me now you fast guy racers!" LMAOFF!! - betegh9 - 05-08-2007 bobt993 wrote: Quote:Snore..................... Move this post to the autocross forum. Can I start an AX thread on the DE club activity? How about an AX at a DE event? We could set up gates, slaloms and boxes at the next Pocono event...........then we can make the event a REAL driving skill event, and call it.....DRIVERCROSS. :dude::dude::dude: - bobt993 - 05-08-2007 Nick, I am very happy for you enjoying AX so much. Just post AX stuff on the AX forum. You can do this by going to the home page, clicking "Autocross" (remember to sign in) and post your times trophy picts, etc. As example I posted about the upcoming Glen club race by posting under : Club Racing. If you are lonely for attention, maybe a "Just ask Nick" column can be added by the moderator. - betegh9 - 05-08-2007 I'll wait till I win my first $1mil, cause the moderator may want $$$$ to have my own column. :dude::dude: - bobt993 - 05-08-2007 Steve, here a screen shot of G2x data from Shenandoah. Hope it works. - Darren - 05-08-2007 bobt993 wrote: Quote:Steve, here a screen shot of G2x data from Shenandoah. Hope it works. Does it have a track map showing accel/braking/turning zones? I've borrowed Kam's Traqmate and it has a map like this: - bobt993 - 05-08-2007 I do have a track map screen also. I excluded it to increase data size. Download the G2x software and I can send the file over for you to look at. Should I send it to Dingus.com??? PS. One of my files looked bizarre. Then I Had it make a track map. Hmmm big round circle. I forgot to turn off the datalogger for the skidpad drill. - bobt993 - 05-08-2007 Hey your map of SP shows asphalt where there is none.hock: Especially in the carousel full of ready patch. - Darren - 05-08-2007 bobt993 wrote: Quote:I do have a track map screen also. Should I send it to Dingus.com???Yeah, send it over....lets start a data logging thread.... - stentech - 05-08-2007 I just bought a track Mate I hope It Works well. I think it will be interesting to map the track at my house in my 125 shifter kart. My 5 year old doughter says I suck at driving and I think the data from the track mate will make her shut her pie hole. I am also interested to see how much of a difference new tires make on the Sr3 the tires i have on it are from 05 with about 12 track days on them. I bought the car because fuel is so expensive. I only used 11 gallons of gas all weekend at Shenandoah which is about what my tt uses in one session sm |
