Those that have seen it run can attest to how fast it is . If you want I can help you with the build as I have built 10 so far. The latest is my 92 cp street legal race car. 520Hp and 502Tq in an 1750lb car.Quote:Josh's new acquisition had me thinking. What would be the best bang for your buck street legal DE car, considering cost to buy, and cost to run. Cheap, plentiful, quality parts a must.Street legal DE car = bad on the street, bad on the track - ccm911 - 01-23-2010 betegh9 wrote: Quote:Then I'm sure you were a real fan of the good old Sunbeam Tiger.......the new Mustang (supercharged) is still far from the new Vette, and for less $$$$$ Absolutely! But it must be a later version, with a 289 and Rack and Pinion. The early versions had a 260 and non-rack and pinion steering. I would also consider a TVR Griffith and an R1 Studebaker Avanti with a Supercharger and a four-speed. - betegh9 - 01-23-2010 ccm911 wrote: Quote:betegh9 wrote:Quote:Then I'm sure you were a real fan of the good old Sunbeam Tiger.......the new Mustang (supercharged) is still far from the new Vette, and for less $$$$$ Chris, A couple of years ago, there was a fellow at North Jersey AX events with one of those Grifiths.............. very fast, as long as he had fresh Hoosier slicks, otherwise the car was all over the place, and I would beat him. - Racingswh - 01-23-2010 Sechsgang wrote: Quote:Ill be pretty easy to spot Drew, We missed you and it will be nice to have you join us again this season!! Nice driving. You use the same line as I do thru the octopus, tight. I enter turn 5 at the middle of the track once I get the most out of turn 4, and thus in turn 5, I wind up covering less ground. there is plenty of track out coming out of 5. I like the racepack video display! - AMoore - 01-25-2010 ninjabones wrote: Quote:You want cheap and fast, I've got one for you Aaron. 500+ HP American muscle, ultimate reliability, and I turned a 1:51.7 in her at the GlenExcellent - what system is that and how can i get one? - ninjabones - 01-25-2010 It's on online racing simulator called iRacing. Runs on your PC (just need to buy a force feedback wheel/pedal set and probably upgrade your video card). |
