Folks have fun & be smooth.  I'm still recuperating from my neck surgery and passing on registering for events until Pocono... Hoping I can drive in that event too!

Ask Chris Karras about the scenic route through the mountains that we took last year. It was worth every minute.

Weather certainly appears to be better then last year. Smile  I suggest all the RTR guys gather in the same place in the paddock as we did last year.  To the left after you go through the gates and use the area close to the barn restrooms that overlook roller coaster.  See you all there.

Anybody caravan-ing down, or is everyone on their own.

Just curious.

- Brian Minkin - 03-10-2008

I am leaving Springfield about 9:00 AM on Thursday if anyone wants to caravan the 95 south route. This timing will avoid the Balto and Wash traffic.  I did this in January going to Sebring and it worked out well.

- Graham - 03-10-2008

6 a.m. leaving from Doylestown...

301 through MD dropping out onto 95 just above Roanoke

7.5 hrs including fuel stops

Time to Rock n' Roll!!!

Graham,

95 is not anywhere near Roanoke.

I think you mean coming out a little north of Richmond. Only problem I have with 301 is the Potomac River Bridge which is old and narrow.  Rather intense towing a brick.

I'll be doing I-81 south, if anyone wants to go that way.

Not only easier for me, but bypasses the beltways.
