We could sell 1500 tickets @ $50 to raise $75,000 and give away a $50,000 Boxster/Cayman. We would net $25,000 for whatever event we decide on and have the excitement of the drawing at the final gala.

See the 50 theme ($50 ticket, $50M car)? Any thoughts?

Are you volunteering to put this together????? If so give John Heckman a call.

Dear ccm911,

I hope you hook-up with some nice MILF soon. With less pent-up inner aggression, you won't have to list your guns in your profile signature anymore! Tongue

How would this play regarding our non-profit status? Sounds like a wonderful idea.

Sure thing Mike. I sent a PM to John this morning. Just one caveat, I still want to be eligible in the drawing especially if I wind up picking out the color!

Can I request white? Big Grin

- Porshagod - 12-03-2006

Any color that does NOT start with the letter "B" (i.e.- NO black, blue, burgundy, brown or beige) would be fine, but it MUST have a black interior! Cool

- Brian Minkin - 12-03-2006

If we do it you will have to compete with me and I want Blue! Tongue

- Wellardmac - 12-03-2006

I agree on the black interior - there is no substitute!

I'm a fan of non-metallic colors, as they're easier to do touchup.

Being El Presidente you get to choose the exterior color. Big Grin

Thanks for your interest in our 50th Anniversary Celebration.  Although I agree that Penn's Landing would be a nice place to hold an event, arrangements are in the works to hold our 50th Anniversary Birthday party (as we are calling it) at Radnor Hunt.  Perhaps the Club could hold another type of event at Penn' s Landing in a subsequent year.

Stay tuned for more information.  The official kick-off of our Anniversary Year begins on Saturday, December 9 at the Annual Awards Banquet.
