In light of the tremendous turn out and positive feedback from the RTR 50th Anniversary event last year, I was wondering if that could be the start of a NEW annual event for the club! Is there any room in the Club's social schedule for an event that brings Club members from ALL club interests together at one place in 2008?
I'm sure we could put on an event similar to the RTR 50th Anniversary event, though on a smaller (read- less expensive) scale, at a reasonable cost ($25-$50/pp range), to the members who wish to attend, with or without financial assistance from the Club. I'm sure members would be willing to spring for a few bucks for an event like this, just as they do for a DE or Holiday Party event.
Before we get into a discussion on cost, details, location, etc, we should see if our members express enough interest in having an event like this. Any thoughts?
