I know I will be flamed for this Q (*G* - 'when all else fails read the directions'), but if one is selling parts via PayPal, what fee does the seller pay? Is it a % or a flat fee of the sale? Thanks in advance!

...but, be warned that the usual credit card fees of 5% will also apply if the buyer pays by credit card.

Dave,

Thank you for your prompt response! These links are extremely helpful. Don't know if you remember me - not that you would recognize my name - James Mazzone introduced us at Dougherty's. I just e-mailed James the other day - sold my Kawa Vulcan and bought an '02 Triumph Thunderbird (I remember your saying you had a Triumph). Asked James when he was going to start riding again - told him I have to learn how to drive the Triumph *G*. I am selling the Roadmaster windscreen off the Triumph, and had an inquiry from Ireland. Your link was very helpful because of the fee explanation - especially with the 'cross- border' fee and the Euro exchange rate fees. Also getting ready to post a stock T-Bird seat, and understand that PayPal helps facilitate sales. Maybe we'll ride together at some time!

Regards,

John Floyd

Of course I remember, we had a nice "bike" discussion in the office. I also spoke to James this week. I believe he said he was getting his bike out around the 19th, and I plan to get my bike out a week or two after. We will definitely have to go for a ride sometime soon! Cool
