this was the second race on saturday of last november's NASA finale. camera is installed in one of my competitor's cars (white SE-R #2, driver = wade jackson). i got bottled up in the start -- i got a GREAT jump, but couldn't go anywhere and had to back off; the red 911 had only ever done one standing start before this race, and the diasio was motorcycle powered and was being very careful with his gearbox. the rest of the race is pretty exciting; lots of battling with steve harper's #78 SE-R for the lead in PTE. eventual outcome is that he blows his clutch, and i go on to PTE victory!
there were two nearly identical 911s in this heat; i think of 86-87 vintage; one driver was named Hunt, and the other was Scott; i believe that this was Scott gridded ahead of me at the start. both guys were paddocked close to me, and both were a pleasure to hang out with!!! for the third race of the weekend, i believe that they really duked it out for GTS-2 supremacy!

Yep, I know Scott and Hunt. They are both Potomac Region members and real nice guys.
