Since so many Reisentoters are going to the VIR track event, I was wondering if we could put together a group tech inspection like we do for our own events.

Sounds like a great idea. I will volunteer to be one of the inspectors.  Now where to have it. Date would need to be Feb. 28th to give drivers enough time to correct any issues.

I'm sure that Wally might consider it "for the right price".

FWIW, the right price might just be wings and beers at Hooters!!!!!!!

I sent an email to Wally last night.

Update on VIR Tech.

Bill Dougherty has graciously offered the use of his shop for VIR tech inspection on Saturday February 28th from 8-12.  I will let Wally know and will arrange with other RTR Tech Inspectors to be there.  Please post below if you will be using this tech inspection for VIR tech inspection so I can have an idea of how many cars we need to inspect.

Normal RTR Tech Fee will apply to this tech.

I hope to make it but hopefully the car will be ready to go by then so I should not need to be teched that day.

Actually my car was teched in December and has been sitting in the trailer ever since but gonna give it the once over to make sure its ready to go. Will need to put a trickle charger on it the week before because I am sure it will not start now.

Car is now fully painted, but I still need to do some preventative maintenance work on the D-car: replace some key bolts with high strength steel bolts.  ship out the bell housing for inspection to FabCar, etc.   I don't think I will have it back together in time to make it to Tech.
