I got a two-day driving event with Skippy coming up end of April. Where do you guys stay at? I was looking online: looks like Wake Room Inn $144 per night, Interlakes Inn $189 per night. Any cheap but clean motels in the area?

I've only been to LRP once (in 2005). I stayed at the Hitching Post. It was decent and was only around $95/night.

Hey Steve - I've stayed at the Sharon Motor Lodge multiple times. Very basic, fairly clean, and about 10 minutes from the track (west). Off season rates usually around $80/night, and they do often charge less when paid in cash.
