I blew the clutch in my 97 boxster at pocono. Any suggestion what kind I should replace it with?

Ouch, sorry to hear that.  The factory clutch is probably the best option.  If the dealer isn't doing the work (or even if they are) make sure to call a dealer and ask whether you should replace any of the seals while they are in there.

I would agree with Darren, a stock clutch would be recommended..  I would also replace the rear main and intermediate shaft seal while your in there..
I can def do the job for you!  Please give me a call if interested.

Too bad!!  I know how you feel.  Hopefully you were able to get some runs in before it went.  I had the same situation at Summit last summer.  I was able to go out on the track for 1.5 runs for the two day event.  Weather was perfect.

Looking at your avatar, were you able to get your car home ok?

I know there is no Internet access at the gate where I dropped you off, so you must have gotten home okay.  Sorry you are missing this Sunday's AX.  I'll make Steve drink an extra beer for you.  I'd like to help you with your question, but first I need to know what a clutch is.

Good luck.

I had trouble with my clutch as well...as you may recall. For me it was a leaking clutch line--the line was rubbing on the transmission heat exchanger. Simple, trivial, but enough to put a stop to the festivities.

I am sure that i will see you in the near future. get me the tow hook when you have the chance.
