Must stop Steve...

I guess that I didn't score any points at the Planes 'n Porsches event when I drove Peter Majkas's car?

Sorry Nick, No Points For You!

Neither you and Pete have a PPF  or entered for this year's championship, so we couldn't handicap and assign points.  You should have received an e-mail showing raw times for all classifications.

2009 Autocross championship point standings after event #5 (Delaware PCA) shown below.  Remember, the best four out of six scores count toward the championship.

Looks like Steve has a lock on 1st place.  Second and third place are still up for grabs.

- Vytenis - 09-28-2009

Championship points standings with the best four (4) out of six (6) scores are listed below.

Congratulations to Steve McMorn, in first place. Steve won all four (4) events he ran in and got fastest time of the day (FTD) at Hershey, which has some fast competition.

Second place goes to Vytenis Bichnevicius (“V?), your scorekeeper.  I think my skills are improving, but I have to give all the credit to my competitors who don’t show up.   So it is true that 50% is just showing up!

Mike Kling finished in third place.  Mike ran strong all year.  He and I were tied for 2nd place going into the sixth event,  which he decided to sleep in for.  Thanks Mike.

Thanks to all who participated. It was great to see some newcomers come out and enjoy their cars and the people.  Hope to see you out there next year.

Although the RTR autocross championship is over for this year, Philly SCCA has three (3) more events (http://www.phillyscca.com) and CPA (http://www.cpa-pca.org) is hosting another autocross at the Hershey Giant center on Sun. Oct. 18.
