I'm moving back to PA next month and I'd like to get an epoxy floor installed in my new house. Preferably before it gets filled up with stuff so I need to find a contractor. Anybody have a recommendation?

I'm going through this process myself and I'm in Malvern. I have a newly poured floor and I received 2 quotes to do the paint. One was for $1300 and the other was for $2700. The latter was a company called ShotBlast that first blasts the floor to prepare the surface. They will guarantee the paint won't lift, which the other quote will not.
Of course it's all about prep. I've heard too many stories from guys that had their floors painted and then hot tires lifted the paint off. I think I want to go with ShotBlast, but I still haven't made a decision.

I've done a lot of 2-part epoxy floors in commercial buildings and it's not a big deal to do it yourself. Mix two 1-gallon cans of Part-A and Part-B and roll it on with a paint roller.... quickly. You only have about a good 15 minutes of working time. By 20 minutes it'sgetting pretty thick to work with. SIKA brand. Just my humble opinion.

BTW..... Epoxy is very slippery when it's wet.
Be sure to consider the anti-skid additive, which gives it a rougher surface.

Yes, I know. My kids have taken a number of falls on my current garage floor. It looks great shiny but I'll probably go with some texture on the next one.

It's actually a 14 year old house with an oil stained garage floor with a couple of cracks. I don't have a problem doing the painting but I would rather have pros do the prep and patch. I also want it to happen fast so if I can get it all done for a decent price by one contractor, I'll take the easy way out.

Another option would be to use garage floor tiles. Comes in neat patterns, and easy to do it yourself.
