- Vytenis - 07-23-2006 I am coming up on one year of Porsche ownership and PCA membership. July 2 was my first autocross. I had fun and thought it was well organized. How does everyone else feel about the autocross events? Suggestions for making them better? - betegh9 - 07-24-2006 Hi Vytenis!I am glad you liked the AX, You could have lots of your questiones answered if you'd like to come up to north Jersey to an NNJR event On july 30 at the PNC art center, exit 116 of the Garden state Pky. contact me if you'd like to go.....You will have a blast.Nick - Queboss - 07-25-2006 www.autox4u.com has the list of all the SCCA clubs nearby. - Wellardmac - 07-25-2006 I look at it this way. If you don't like something, be proactive and be a part of improving it, rather than critisizing it. Contact Terry, Brian and Patrick and say "I'm here to help" Our region has track events out the wazoo and not enough other stuff. I'm never going to be a track jockey. The road rallies are undersupported and if the AX goes away, then I'm SOL and wondering what there is left for me in the RTR region. I'm sure I'm not alone here. A club is only as good as the members who are willing to stand up and be counted. Sure you can freeload and sit on the sidelines critisizing the great work of those who make stuff happen, or you can be a part of making things better. I'm personally of the opinion that you're not entitled to critisize unless you've expended (or willing to expend) some energy in helping out and trying to change things. Just my $0.02 As I said in my previous email, I'm willing to put my name on a list of helpers. If you're looking to change things, then I guess you add your name to the list. - betegh9 - 07-27-2006 Ups!I wrote my coments on the AX results page. Well? Check it out anyway. There is my 2 cents worth....... |
