- JoeP - 10-15-2009 If anyone feels squeemish in the wet, take a look at this video --- from the long circuit at the Nurburgring! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkAi41dJFGk&feature=related The good stuff starts at 1:05. Anyone for a new DE event? - Brian Minkin - 10-15-2009 I once had the opportunity to drive back from Scranton to NE philly in a blizzard with at least 12 inches of snow fall by the time I got down to Allentown. Going down the unplowed NE extension and then across the turnpike to the Philadelphia exit felt just like the video. Thankfully there was little or no traffic on the turnpike. I was driving a 944 on Goodyear Eagle tires. At least the tires where all season. I made it to my development and got stuck pulling into my street. - Phokaioglaukos - 10-19-2009 I have a Ring date set for November 7th, last of the year. Hoping NOT to see those conditions! - betegh9 - 10-19-2009 Phokaioglaukos wrote: Quote:I have a Ring date set for November 7th, last of the year. Hoping NOT to see those conditions! Good luck!! Checking the weather channel won't change a thing. Go up to the Poconos and practice there..........While we had rain at Thunderbolt there was snow up there. |
