- JAK911 - 09-23-2009 Hi all, I am looking for some advice on which fuel to use for our 1970 911 T. I am assuming we should use premium fuel with a lead additive. Is that the safest bet? If so, does anyone here recommmend one additive over another? Thanks!! Joe - fawudd - 01-07-2010 I hope you got some answers offline, but I have always used premium in my T and my E. I do not generally use lead additives, but I also put relatively few miles on the cars per year. There have been lengthy debates on Rennlist and Pelican regarding this topic, so you may want to search those forums. - JAK911 - 01-09-2010 Thanks for the reply. Since my original post I have asked around a bit more and as you say there is a bit of a debate but it seems that more people run premium fuel without the lead additive, so that is what I am going to go with for now. Thanks! |
