Hello There - I'm thinking of registering for the upcoming May NJMP event. I've done DE's with a variety of different clubs/groups including FCA, PDA, HOD, TT4C etc, and they all organize the days a bit differently.
What is a typical DE schedule like with RSR-PCA? How long is each session scheduled for? Approx how many sessions does each group get in a day (barring unforeseen circumstances of course).
Also, are all new participants required to register in the Green group at first, regardless of track experience/training?

RTR track events are one of the best values around. We had an event this past weekend at Pocono Raceway and the schedule on Saturday was 5 run groups at 25 minutes each! The schedule varies a little depending on how many people register in the advanced groups (notice we combined red and black for this past event). Historically 4 run groups at 20-25 minutes each is about normal I think.
Myles is the track chair and you can email him at track@rtr-pca.org. Let him know what your experience is and he will help you figure out which group is appropriate for you to register in.

BTW -- we're very welcoming to non-Porsches at our events. I think we probably had 6 or 7 Vettes at our last event and we also have Hondas, Subarus, etc....
