- allenj01 - 05-18-2010 Looking for a DAS Rollbar that will fit a 996 w/sunroof and sparco evo seats or something comparable Please email jamie993@gmail.com , thank you - CarreraS - 05-18-2010 Check with Robbie Provost over at Provost Motorsports in Bordentown, NJ. He’s with Schattenbaum. He might have some seats for you, too. I know he has some used GT3 seats in his shop in excellent condition. His number is 609-298-3555. http://www.provostmotorsports.com/ He was going to put a DAS bar in my 997S, but I have the upgraded Bose system and it would have required removing the sub-woofer. (I still use the car on the street and I wasn’t ready to commit to removing the sub….yet.) Instead, he put a Porsche Tequipment roll bar in. Yes, I know it can’t compare to the DAS and you old guys think it’s a piece of garbage, but how bad could an OEM bar be? All in, to buy the bar from him including installation, was going to be $1,200.00. Good luck! - George3 - 05-18-2010 CarreraS wrote: Quote:. . . . I had one in my GT3. - Lainey - 05-20-2010 Jamie, you need a new Avatar... I'm sad looking at your Yellow 993... BTW good o'l Nick B has really done a great job with seats, safety equipment, some other stuff on her. I saw him and the rest of the Toter crew at Thunderbolt/Schattenbaum. Heard he was really fast with some help from D.D... |
