Join the Riesentoter PCA region for its 2010 “Four County Rally? on September 25, 2010. Enjoy an afternoon drive through the southeastern PA countryside in a low-key, fun automotive competition. The rally begins at the Green Lane Park (2144 Snyder Road, Green Lane, PA 18054) in the northwest corner of Montgomery County. You will traverse four counties as you motor through 12 checkpoints located throughout the area.

The objective will be to visit all checkpoints, answering site-specific questions,  completing the route with the lowest possible mileage. Quarter-mile penalties assessed for incorrect answers, requests for assistance or search and rescue. Bonus quarter-mile credits awarded for correctly guessing the team with the best score, worst score and first team to drive off map and call for help.  This is a distance rally; speed and time are not a factor.

After the final checkpoint, all teams will meet at a local watering hole for the announcement of the results. Prizes awarded to the top three finishers.

Teams consist of one driver and one navigator. All automotive marques welcome, vehicles must have a working odometer. No GPS, maps or other navigational aids allowed.

Registration opened this morning at midnight.

Who wants to be first to register?

I'll give a quarter mile credit to the first to sign up. Big Grin

Of course, I'd then be forced to assess a quarter mile penalty for brown-nosing the Rallymaster. Sad

Sign up anyway!
