1967 Chevy El Camino
Fully restored 1967 Arizona El Camino. Maui Blue Metallic 67 Corvette paint. SS hood. 1967 only rear bed cover made from the original GM molds with locks and a full bed carpet kit from Gaylord’s
The car has never been drag raced but with a gear change the car and the suspension is built for it. I have a lot of R&D track time in the car at Pocono and Summit Point Raceway both road courses. Car is street legal and will pass State Insp. but does not need either.

The interior has 2 very nice 5 point road race seats, Lucky’s Race Cars 10 point chromoly roll cage, Scroth racing cam lock 5 point harnesses, Nardi wood billet steering wheel, column mounted tach, mechanical oil temp, water temp and oil pressure gauges . I have a new carpet kit to be installed. Battery is mounted behind passenger seat with a key type kill switch, Am-Fm cassette radio and new door speakers, includes new not installed exterior door handles.

358 SBC 4 bolt block, steel crank, knife edged and polished, H beam rods with all ARP hardware, TRW forged pistons 11.8-5.1 comp. runs pump gas all day long, Crane solid roller cam, solid roller valve train. Crane pushrods, guide plates, roller rockers and a Crane gold stud girdle. 6800 RPM red line, RPM Air Gap ported and gasket matched intake, GMPP Fast Burn Alum. heads, Holley 850 body on a 950 base Nascar race carb, Holley HP fuel pump braided AN lines being fed by a ½ aluminum fuel line from the tank. A custom HP oiling system with an external Nascar oil cooler and a Nascar made by “DEI�? huge billet oil filter mount, a 3qt. Acusump pre-oiler with electric valve. All AN plumbing and fittings. A Howe Nascar aluminum Radiator, Spal electric cooling fan. The car makes 435HP at the wheels and 398ft. lb of TQ.

I built a custom narrowed 12 bolt rear with Ford bolt in big axle bearings with 2 Superior 9" 31 spline axles, 355 gears and a Detroit locker,

The front suspension is all Global West. With their Negative Roll Tubular front upper control arms, B-body spindles, race lower control arms with Del-a lum lower bushings, 1000lb front race springs and adjustable Koni’s. Global West front sway bar. Global West fast ratio steering box and pump.

The rear suspension has tubular lower control arms with a spherical axle bearing and del-a-lum forward bushings, 275lb springs with adjustable Koni's. The uppers are boxed with stock bushings and the upper frame mount is re-enforced.

HUGE front Sierra road race 4 piston calipers, 2 piece aluminum big race bearing hub and hats, Coleman front 13x1.380 directional vain rotors and Huge rear 4 piston Wilwood calipers and Wilwood aluminum 2 piece rotors. A Wilwood master cyl. with adjustable proportioning valve,

Tremec TKO 500 5 speed trans, SFI flywheel with a Centerforce clutch kit, Lakewood blow proof bell housing, Coleman Nascar 3�? aluminum drive shaft with big Ford u-joints front and rear.

Hooker Super Comp headers, 3" Dr. Gas X pipe into 3" Spin Tech Entropy mufflers to 3" tail pipes (the car sounds like no other on the road)

Pocono Long Pond straight 162MPH and Summit Point W.V. 1min. 34sec lap times the car pulls well over a 1.3G with R6 Hoosiers on the car.
2 sets of wheels. 1 set of 16x8 Vintage Wheel Works type 45 rims with 245-45 -16 front tires and 255-50-16 rears. 1 set of Ronal R5 16x8 race rims with 245-45-16 R6 Hoosiers
