Yes, I have used Performance Automotive before. Peter and Paul. They do good work but they are 45 minutes away. I recently received a phone call from the mechanic that worked at my old shop. He is moving to Total Automotive on 13th Street in Reading - 10 minutes away.  I guess I will be using him again.  FWIW his name is Jim and he used to work for Flannery. He works on everything including Ferraris and Lambos.

If you live on the east side of Reading, you are less than 15 miles from CB Foreign Cars in Monterey. They're just off Rte 222 on Christman Rd.

Just Google map your way from your house to 9 Christman Rd., Kutztown, PA 19530

John is an excellent Porsche mechanic! He does get a bit backed up sometimes, so it's not usually a one day turnaround. But he does excellent work.

Dennis,

I live in Reading. For the last 12 years my car has been serviced by Mark Burkit at Specialty Cars in Allentown. (Gilmore Street)  I have always been treated fairly there. He has over 25 years experience with 911's. He is factory trained and very honest.

Specialty Cars in Allentown sponsored last years AutoX+ Roadshow and I'm deighted to announce they have just come onboard again this year to sponsor our 2008 RTR AutoX+ Roadshow - see upcoming article in january Der Gasser for more info. Their website is: http://www.specialtycarsservicecenter.com

As Steve Mankowski says "its always good to support those who support us"

Don't forget about Performance Automotive in Malvern, right off rt. 401 towards rt. 29.
