- ninjabones - 03-28-2011 Now that my 993 track car build is complete, I just don't have the time, $$$, or energy to hold on to my beloved SC. Short story is that it's a fantastic driver that was fully restored less than 30,000 miles ago. Currently 121,000 miles on the odometer. Restoration completed at 93,000 by prior owner with the following work (more than $24,000 spent): - windows-out repaint ( $4,000) - new front window - all rubber trim on the car replaced with new (bumper accordions, bumperettes, bumper smile, window trim, door gaskets, etc, etc) - turbo tie rods, bilstein sport shocks installed - complete Griffiths A/c system installed ($3,200 in parts alone) - Engine rebuild (top and bottom, $12,100) including new pistons and cylinders with higher compression ratios, heads ported, Raceware hardware, euro intake runners, timeing chains, rebuild transmission, SSI heat exchangers, 964 cam grinds (webcams), bursch mufflers - H4 headlights Other upgrades: - sport seats (reconditioned this summer) - alpine mp3, ipod, XM stereo - new carpets - fuchs recent service and upgrades (less than 1,000 miles since performed) - fluids changed (tranny and oil) - stainless steel brake lines and fresh brake fluid - cleaned and repacked wheel bearings - new optima battery and fabricated new battery box/hold down - replaced heatt control (flapper) boxes - replaced clutch cable, reset clutch adjuster - retuned CIS - new distributor rotor - replaced fuel lever sensor - new momo prototipo steering wheel - valve cover gaskets - new rotors and pads - fan belt and V- belt replaced - went over entire interior and fixed/replaced all trim pieces, door knobs, lock buttons, etc. Priced to sell at $15,900 she's not concourse, but is a great driver, ready for the spring and new loving owner. Car is located outside Philadelphia, and will be at the Hershey Swap Meet if not sold by then. - DJbrand1 - 03-29-2011 Are you interested in any kind of trades or just looking to sell? - ninjabones - 03-29-2011 Looks like the car is sold. No money exchanged yet, but likely going back to her home in Germany. - AMoore - 03-29-2011 My first 911 returned to the fatherland as well. I miss the voluptuous curves of her widebody. - LouZ - 03-29-2011 AMoore wrote: Quote:My first 911 returned to the fatherland as well.
