Anyone else attending?
Does RTR have a separate area for members?

So far, I'm aware of a still small, informal group leaving from the King of Prussia movie theatre complex across from/behind the mall. I'm told they are leaving at 9:00 AM that Saturday and since it's not club sponsored, no forms to sign. Also not aware of any special reserved RTR area at Hershey.

Get on the turnpike heading West.  There will be a million Porsche's on the road.  Join in, follow along, and have fun. Big Grin

Just a quick note and hello. As a new member I have been anxious to locate resouces to help in the restoration of my 1973 911T Targa. The swap meet sounds great. I have attended the last two meetings of the club and have met several people who have offered excellent suggestions. Look forward to meeting more Porsche folks at the swap meet. Perhaps I'll see you there.

Hi John.  Welcome to RTR.  You are going to LOVE the swap meet.  You'll see good stuff, bad stuff and everything in between.  And you will meet a lot of guys with older cars like yours.  You are going to have a blast!

Thanks Chris

I am looking forward to it rain or shine!

I just pulled the porsche into the barn , put it up on jackstands and began to trace a small gas leak. Seems it is right where the tank has a connection to the rubber line leading back to the engine. This looks like the first repair priority. This is a Michigan car and the front "cross member has a lot of rust especially where the torsion bars are connected to the body. Looks like I will have to pull the front suspension and the gas tank and weld in a new body section. This is what I will be looking for at Hersey.

Perhaps I will run into you

John,

Check out

http://www.restoration-design.com/ for replacement panels for your car.

Thanks again

Met Peter DeJonge at the swap meet. His father owns Restoration Designs and I ordered the panels I needed. Even got a discount. So the trip was worth it.

Too funny!  I also am ordering a patch panel from them.

See?  It was worth the trip.
